Pros

Tek was an excellent place to work four or five years ago. The company offered good benefits, high levels of engagement, and there was motivation throughout the organization. When leaders like Luis Guillermo were around, things were kept in place. There was good management and significant opportunities for growth; it was a great workplace.

Cons

The current Global Management team is one of the most awful I have ever encountered. I hold their leadership directly accountable for the business decline and eventual shutdown of our operations. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, in my view, merely an excuse to cover up a critical lack of leadership talent and strategy. The Country/Site Management has failed to make any remarkable improvements in recent years, allowing the situation to deteriorate. Currently, Tek operates like a mediocre call center—and even those call centers often have higher employee engagement than ours. The overall experience has been terrible, marked by poor ethics and what I consider illegal and inappropriate treatment of employees. I would strongly advise everyone not to work here. The great company it once was no longer exists.

Pros

The paychecks don't bounce, at least as far as I experienced. You'll never ever have time to be bored, if you could call it that.

Cons

Completely toxic work environment, through and through. Ignores requests for Disability accomodations, uses the information gleaned from that process to institute write-ups. PIPs are their favorite tool ever, beside death from overwork.
