Pros
Right in the downtown core, good benefits, not great though, eyeglasses and dental aren't well covered. good pay, at least compared to the avg in Winnipeg.
Cons
Very cliche groups form, can cause a lot of office drama. Beware if someone doesn't like you and they have the senior crews ears, you might be out pretty fast. Using open source software so support is not as good as desired. Older building infrastructure leaves much to be desired for heating/cooling/upgrades to facilities. If you start under certain leads there isn't much chance for you to advance as they actively vye for positions or push you into unsuitable work if they feel you are competition. Sketchy area at night, muggings and assaults aren't too common, but it happens enough. Upper management is very two faced when dealing with personal issues, it's jarring sometimes.
