Pros

I started out as an Independent Sales Agent (ISA) for this company and have since worked my up through the recruiting department and am now a Corporate Mananger running my own team of 20+ ISAs. This company has been phenomenal! I have always been provided with excellent support; we have an open door policy from top to bottom and everyone is always willing to help in any way they can. Talus is also committed to making sure we have a bright and prosperous future together. we are always looking at ways to improve the workplace as well as the products and services we provide. Great place to start and build a career!

Cons

Very aggressive commission structure. This is definitely a job where you get out what you put in and there is always work to be done when working off of commission. However, I would restructure the commission to reflect more obtainable goals.

Decent one week training. Training staff is nice

Cons

THERE IS A REASON WHY YOU GET HIRED HERE AFTER TWO EXTREMELY SHORT INTERVIEWS. RSL's are the biggest micromanager. They believe themselves to be more important than your time out building a pipeline. Random scheduled meetings with focus on their time only. Run far away from this company. Around $660 monthly take home to get you on your feet.

The payments industry is a challenging and rewarding industry, and you're right, it takes a ton of work to build up the business, make connections in your network and develop relationships everywhere you go! We believe that you have something special that would stand out from all of the other processors, because at the end of the day, clients are buying from the individual - not the company. The individual is a representation of the company brand. All of our field sales roles are located in different markets. The commission structure is the same across like-roles. Commission residuals are calculated on the businesses signed. There are opportunities for the long sale in building up relationships with referral partners (like banks) and there are short sales in connecting with small business owners. The opportunities are there and you are correct, it takes a consistent approach to build the pipeline.
