- Somewhat generous pay during training ( I know a couple of friends who got paid more for training at their jobs) - Great idea, but needs work - Colleagues helped make the days go by
Cons
In my opinion, most of the negative comments on this site are on point. Here are some of mine: - Recruiter made some false promises, such as promising we will be placed quick and will "love it" ("oh, everybody gets placed"; "shouldn't take more than a few weeks after training, one month tops"). please be honest! - Some colleagues were forced to work way too far or on tasks irrelevant to training - One of the managers was unprofessional at times by making rude and unnecessary comments about people, either in front of others or within earshot (constructive feedback is fine; however, it should be intended to help others, not insult them. And in certain situations, it should be in the form of a private meeting) - Two year contract (would be ok if things went well) - Trainers were hit or miss; some were great, specifically the SQL trainer, but others may have lacked - Resumes built by Talent Path were a bit too exaggerated
