Pros

Literally the only thing is the people are nice. But that’s not putting bread on the table.

Cons

It’s door-to-door, not B2B. They can jazz it up however they want to make it seem great, but it was one of the worst jobs I’ve had. Pay is all commission- even that is not set in stone when you make a sale. Even if the person returns/cancels their product- there goes your pay for the week. No benefits until you’re a higher authority (which could take at least a year) Long work hours. Literally Mon-Sat for 12 hours, then they constantly want you to come out after work. Work literally becomes your social life. You have to have your own car and drive everywhere Pyramid scheme

Pros

Working at Talem+Plum has been one of the best decisions of my life. As a typical college student, I did not personally have much money nor have much of an idea of what I want in life. No doubt, I work hard and have a great attitude. Talem+Plum knows how to bring the very best out of people, challenge them to reach their fullest potential, and reward them by reminding them of their worth.

Cons

Honestly, your perception is reality, so your experience with Talem+Plum is what you make of it. The company truly lives up to who and what they say they are. Employees here are solution-oriented and have an incredible, positive mindset. I truly believe there is no such thing as having anything but a positive experience with Talem+Plum. Naturally, it is an incredibly positive company, so it is up to each and every employee to contribute positive energy and in turn enjoy a positive experience for themselves.

Pros

The community within the company is very strong and they genuinely do care about each person in the office. I felt extremely comfortable by the end of my first week and continued to feel that support the entire time I was there. The people in the company were definitely their biggest attribute. Everyone was extremely fun, supportive, dedicated and excited to be there everyday. I've never worked for a company where the employees genuinely like each other and go out of their way to spend time together outside of the office. While working at Talem and Plum I had the opportunity to learn a lot about sales, communication and business that my college degree didn't provide. Although I had studied business, working at the company gave me real world experience and the opportunity to gain more skills in a lot of different fields and find out where my strengths were. The managers make themselves open to anyone looking for advice or coaching. I really loved the open door policy with the management team and the feeling that they actually care about my questions and helping me succeed.

Cons

The company hours are different then the typical 9-5 which can make it tricky depending on your family situation and other obligations you have. They really do want every team member to be committed to the company, so if you aren't 100% in it for the long haul it can be overwhelming/frustrating, but it's a great opportunity if it is what you want to do for your career.
