Talbert House Response
4yThank you so much for your feedback. We are so pleased to know that you find our workplace to be one of learning and growth. It is an important strategic goal of the agency to provide enrichment and career development for every staff member. As you know, our total compensation package is about so much more than base pay.
In the hypothetical example below, a full-time, non-exempt employee making a base wage of $27,040 is also earning the following:
20 days of PTO, worth $2,080/year at that wage
40 hours of paid sick time, worth $520/year
An annual performance bonus of $1049
If they select our True Cost health plan for themself and their spouse, Talbert House pays 91% of their premium, which is worth $12,083.40/year. In addition, Talbert House pays 100% of the administrative fees, which are more than $600/year/employee.
If they contribute 10% of their wages to our 403b retirement fund, Talbert House matches that at 50%, so they are receiving an additional $1,352 contribution/year to their retirement
All employees are automatically provided with life insurance and base disability coverage, which costs approximately $353/year.
If this employee refers a new job applicant who is hired and remains at the agency for 90 days, they can receive up to $1,000 for that referral. They can refer as many people as they want with no limit.
If they are pursuing a higher degree and applied for tuition reimbursement, they could receive an average of $2500/year for their education.
In this example, a person's total compensation package is worth a base salary of $27,040 plus another $21,537.40! They are actually earning $48,577.40/year. What's more... the list above does not include all of our benefits.
