Pros

Looked good on paper. Met some lovely people in the training. Made me look forward to retirement.

Cons

I had my suspicions from day one, where an “old employee” presumably was rejoining the job after a bad experience - believable? The whole atmosphere was unprofessional - I didn’t have a manager, there was no communication, no support just words thrown at you for you to take in. Wasted my time, but made me look forward to retirement. Just unbelievable how unprofessional they were as a company compared to my many previous jobs over the years. Contracts clearly state one week’s notice before termination but I was fired effective immediately for apparently not passing the training even though training was implied to be only the three weeks in Grimsby. There was no implication that I could be fired when settling into work after starting from home… I was set up for failure. Everyone in the group who passed through had a manager, was referred by another company as a group and was given warm leads ( I was given answering machines ). If I could warn anyone to stay away from this job, you’d be better off working anywhere else in the world than be fed lies to like this company. The commissions I earned will never be seen by me as they fire before you can get them! They do new training groups every 6 weeks - hire, fire, repeat. Genuinely, don’t bother.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We feel it’s important to clarify a few points. Firstly, you have not mentioned your role with us, the circumstances around your departure, or the reasons for termination, which makes it difficult for us to have the full picture. We do not operate a “hire, fire, repeat” culture. Our aim is to build long-term careers for our employees, and many of our team members have progressed with us over the years. Training and support are provided consistently, and managers are assigned to every new starter to ensure they are guided during the onboarding process. While we regret that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, we feel it is important to reassure potential candidates that the claims in this review do not reflect how we operate as a business. We remain committed to providing a professional, supportive, and structured working environment for all of our employees.

Pros

Good Working Culture and looked after. Good colleagues.

Cons

The pay for new recruits is lower, there is more work, and there is no budget for training. There are fewer holidays, only 21. Other than occasional outings, there are no birthday holidays or any other benefits.
