Pros

Great teammates Hybrid work culture Okay benefits

Cons

I currently work at Tailwind and i'm truly confused about a recent positive review that there has been progress on DEI. Besides hiring a few token employees of color, I don't see DEI as a pillar of the Tailwind. Before I joined, I saw the negative reviews on how Tailwind handled the Summer 2020 protests, and that alarmed me. I still joined Tailwind though, only to find out that minimal effort has been made toward DEI. Why is a different story being told to candidates? In my experience, it seems like they're trying hard to answer questions about DEI but fall short. Glassdoor reviews and blog posts aren't enough.

Pros

Tailwind cares about its people as much as a business can. The leadership there has always been supportive, and ready to listen to calls for change.

Cons

Direction changes a lot, and you don't always know if you'll be working on the same thing for the next few months, even when you're told you are.

Pros

Tailwind is a great company with great leadership and a strong vision for their product. There was a very collaborative spirit among the team, and everyone pushed each other to be the best version of themselves.

Cons

Working for a company that is relatively young always comes with challenges. The expectations are high, but I don't see that as a con; it's just a reality that you need to know about before you enter the VC-funded tech world.
