Pros

Until end of 2019 everything was good. Have brownbag sharing, knowledge sharing, everyone were working as a team direction was clear from management.

Cons

During start of 2020, things starts to falter with the new product that they tried to come up with. The name has been changing though 😅 Kotext, KPO then now IDP for the past 2 years and now still building it.........in spain. Getting SG gov sponsorship to fund this new product to which cannot be completed since eon years.. 2021 everyone was hoping it will be available but it is not. Forcing all sales people to sell a product that is not yet available, giving clients an imaginery solution, forcing them to hit KPI.. In the end, the delivery team unable to deliver because of sky high requirements and customizations. Support team spread thin. Mass layoff on 2020 due to pandemic and mass rehiring on early 2021 thinking will revive back the delivery team and fulfilling the clients wants not needs, backfired on them. In 2022, they do not have the guts to tell us everything is going downhill. Quaterly Townhall was being pushed back since October 2021 until the fateful day 2nd March 2022. They split the townhall into 2 parts, SG and Spain, which is the first time so many years that they do that. Everyone hearts knows likely what will happen and truly layoffs for the whole of Singapore office was done to 80 of us in the zoom call. After that was over, they said everything will be in liquidators hands.. Apparently there is another company registered under the same address called Capricorn Holdings to house their 15 selected people in there.

Pros

As a college intern, working at Taiger was a wonderful exposure to a fintech startup and the world of artificial intelligence Tremendous community and mentors as well

Cons

Not a real con but I worked there at the start of the COVID pandemic so work was fully remote with a significant time difference Would have been cool to be in-office in Singapore :)
