Pros
Higher than average salaries, a remote first culture, a product that has a lot of potential and some talented folk who know their stuff.
Cons
Unfortunately, the behaviour of the CEO creates an untenable working environment for anyone who has to interact with him. The organisation is characterised by unpredictable swings between praise and hostility, frequent angry outbursts, gaslighting, and threats of dismissal. This has fostered a culture of fear rather than trust, leaving many genuinely talented people ridiculed and demoralised. The result is the most toxic workplace I have encountered in my career, with many former employees describing lasting negative effects on their wellbeing. Several are reluctant to post reviews for fear of repercussions, which I believe is telling in itself. There are some excellent individuals within the company, but their efforts are consistently undermined by the leadership approach. My honest advice to prospective employees is to protect your wellbeing and seek opportunities elsewhere.
