Pros

Some of the senior management team and consultants are ok, and there’s good training on offer.

Cons

-Changes in commission structure and removal of perks such as quarterly incentive trips. -Extremely KPI driven, consultants are expected to make sales calls even when inundated with vacancies. -Male dominated environment, culture can sometimes be very ‘macho’. -No flexibility to work from home or start/finish at different times, always expected to stay later even though no one actually works past 5.30pm.

Thank you for taking the time to leave an honest review. We are really pleased to hear about your positive working relationships with senior management and colleagues during your time at TXM; we are also encouraged by your comments in relation to our training offering. We are however sorry to learn of your frustrations and wish to address these as follows: - Our commission structures are discretionary and reviewed on an annual basis; as much as we endeavour to be competitive in the industry, we must also consider the business’ position - Quarterly trips were replaced by Company team events this year such as Ascot Day in July 2019 which was attended by the entire Company; we feel that this approach is more inclusive and brings the different departments together - We value flexibility and have approved several flexible working requests this year to enable our employees’ to manage family responsibilities and maintain a healthy work-life balance; we have also introduced a shift system where some employees can start work earlier to finish earlier or start later and finish later – this was a suggestion that came from several exit interviews which we subsequently actioned - TXM Recruit operates in industries that are predominantly male but in recent years, we have pushed to balance the gender ratio in the workplace, in fact our male to female ratio in 2018 was 55% to 45% - a statistic that we were proud to share at the Women in Transport client event that we sponsored. Furthermore, we are pleased that our 2 training managers, 2 account managers, internal recruitment manager, payroll manager, HR director and advisor are all female. - We are sorry that you feel there was too much focus on KPIs – a career in recruitment is rewarding but can at times naturally be challenging and highly target driven We hope that we have clarified our position in the above but as part of our continuous improvement, please feel free to email us at hr@txmgroup.com as we welcome any further comments you may have.

Pros

They are very discreet and my personal link with them was not invasive. Easy to manage the time-sheet

Cons

The portal to fill up the time sheet does not work outside UK, even if I can work from outside UK
