I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your time with TWG Plus. We're a small, busy company and it's true that we have had staff changes in the last year. In some cases certain positions were no longer the right fit as the company continued to evolve. In other cases our talented staff, who were able to take courses partially, or completely paid for by TWG, wanted to grow their careers in areas in which TWG had no current opportunities.
It's also accurate that we have promoted from within several times in the last year or so, and that our sales thus far this year are outpacing 2017. We hire for culture first, unapologetically. Culture is always a work in progress, and a critical part of our culture is transparency.
We offer 15 paid PTO days a year, as well as 11 paid holidays. Our team members may take half or full days of PTO, and they may take PTO hours that they haven't yet accrued. PTO does not roll over into the next calendar year. Employees are encouraged to take every single PTO hour and we've worked to cross-train our team so that employees on vacation can be on vacation. We enjoy good work life balance and have simple remote work guidelines for times when employees simply need or want more quiet in order to focus or complete a project.
I don't like to interrupt our team members when they are heads down, in the middle of a project, often with headphones on as our office is quite open (and also has a terrific view.) I prefer to engage them when they are not working to provide quality deliverables for our partners.
While resources are always a focus in small companies, I believe that every person here has the space, training, flexibility, hardware and software required to do his or her job, not to mention the support of their manager and leadership team. That being said, if someone is looking to be told how to do their job, or what to do all day, TWG is not for that person. I hire the best and brightest people and then get out of their way.
