Pros

- Some of the people are really great and know what they're talking about. - Location is convenient

Cons

- CEO doesn't know how to manage a business or people. 9 times out of 10 she won't even talk to you, unless she's forced too. Doesn't listen to feedback about serious issues happening within the company and has appointed a person that micromanages all employees, driving them to quit. -Don't provide you with the resources to do you job efficiently. - Sales team hasn't sold anything in over a year and doesn't fully understand what our company even does....hell...no one knows what this company actually does anymore. - Not flexible with time off and if you don't use you days you lose them. - Culture sucks.

TWG Solutions Response

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your time with TWG Plus. We're a small, busy company and it's true that we have had staff changes in the last year. In some cases certain positions were no longer the right fit as the company continued to evolve. In other cases our talented staff, who were able to take courses partially, or completely paid for by TWG, wanted to grow their careers in areas in which TWG had no current opportunities. It's also accurate that we have promoted from within several times in the last year or so, and that our sales thus far this year are outpacing 2017. We hire for culture first, unapologetically. Culture is always a work in progress, and a critical part of our culture is transparency. We offer 15 paid PTO days a year, as well as 11 paid holidays. Our team members may take half or full days of PTO, and they may take PTO hours that they haven't yet accrued. PTO does not roll over into the next calendar year. Employees are encouraged to take every single PTO hour and we've worked to cross-train our team so that employees on vacation can be on vacation. We enjoy good work life balance and have simple remote work guidelines for times when employees simply need or want more quiet in order to focus or complete a project. I don't like to interrupt our team members when they are heads down, in the middle of a project, often with headphones on as our office is quite open (and also has a terrific view.) I prefer to engage them when they are not working to provide quality deliverables for our partners. While resources are always a focus in small companies, I believe that every person here has the space, training, flexibility, hardware and software required to do his or her job, not to mention the support of their manager and leadership team. That being said, if someone is looking to be told how to do their job, or what to do all day, TWG is not for that person. I hire the best and brightest people and then get out of their way. Pros

The organization has amazed me from the beginning. I am a recent graduate with an organizational communications degree from St. Edwards University in Austin. The way this company has functioned is remarkable. The CEO when I started, Kim Kasee, did an amazing job of challenging AND encouraging all positions in the company from president of sales to the guy who sets up the email blasts, her knowledge and excitement for the success of each person in the company was superb. The transition to new leadership as Kim Kasee, CEO was directed to new ventures was communicated well and the crossover between Kim and our new CEO, Christine Wyatt has been very healthy for our company. Transition can be daunting, but when done correctly can benefit an organization in many ways. Kim and Christine have launched our organization into the future and it is an exciting time to work in Higher Education Marketing with TWG Plus.

Cons

The market niche that TWG Plus serves is fractional of the overall market. Even though this company has experience some growth throughout it's tenure, the only thing I would want is faster growth.

Pros

I'm a new hire and from the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcome and invited. While the team is small, they are fierce and fun! You can really feel collaborative environment, and it feels like I've become part of a growing family. The leadership is stellar, the new CEO is on point and leads wonderfully, she's very accessible- you can tell the entire team respects her. Most of the team has family and the work/life balance is amazing. There's so much room for growth and opportunity here, they're doing amazing things.

Cons

The office is growing quickly and there's only one large conference room, so we may need to move to a new space soon, but that's a good problem to have!
