Pros

Solid training is provided, approx. a month in length. For full-time employees there are benefits like paid time off, usually about a week's worth per year, and paid sick leave, also about a week's worth per year. For your first year, you accumulate a week's worth of paid vacation time. For each additional year you work, you get an added week. So if you've worked three years, that's three weeks paid vacation plus the two weeks of PTO and sick time.

Cons

Can be stressful. There is a lot to know in this role and it can take 6 months or longer before you feel comfortable. The job can get repetitive after a while, so there is high turnover. You can't really choose your hours, unless you have compelling reasons, like needing to pick up your kids. Shifts vary from morning to afternoon, to late morning to evening.
