Hassle - Security Officer TSS (Total Security Services) Employee Review

I worked for TSS for 6 years on and off During my time with the company it was just non stop hassle to work for them not just them as employer but the security industry as a whole. You work unsociable hours standing on you’re feet from 2 till midnight you get hassled on you’re days off to work extra and they guilt trip you into shifts…. they will also decline holiday as they seem to think your life evolves around them, bullying is rife from area managers to senior management and they will belittle you on the phone when you speak to them… if you have mental health issues Also if you have severe illnesses like diabetes and have medical appointments on the days you’re working the supervisor or area manager will try and push you to get your appointments on your days off they did this 3 times to myself and I told them it doesn’t work that way you have to go to medical appointments on the days they are arranged and tss have an obligation to make reasonable arrangements for this in which they didn’t this is another reason why I left the company because when it comes down to looking after their staff they don’t care. Glad I’m out of it all and onto a new career which is much better working as a frontline security officer isn’t short the hassle the things you have to deal with when working isn’t worth it the job is just more drama than what it’s worth.
