7yThanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, as well as your 3+ years of service to TSP. It's great to hear that you feel empowered to perform in your role — we'd expect nothing less from our managers than to empower our people, after all, being "empowered" is part of our Employee Value Proposition (Prepare to Be Developed, Prepare to Be Empowered, Prepare to Be Rewarded").
Our managers should be an active presence in every one of their employees' responsibilities and happenings. Not every manager works in close proximity to all of their direct reports, especially given that some positions are spread throughout the country, but if your manager isn't keeping in contact with you in the cadence you'd prefer, by all means don't hesitate to reach out to them and let them know you'd prefer more frequent check-in's or status calls — every manager should be more than happy to oblige.
