Pros

Pay & benefits are good on paper, some coworkers and direct managers are good.

Cons

Micromanaging, scope-creep, disrespect, narcissism, unreasonable, ridiculous, unrealistic, uncooperative, untrained, defunct, miscommunication, discontent, yelling, bickering, survival, hopelessness - all words that describe this place and ones personal experience, especially these past months with changes that come with the name change from WaferTech to TSMC Washington.

We are disappointed to hear of your experience. We value employees’ feedback and encourage them to share their experiences and suggestions for continuous improvements. We provide multiple channels for employees to report concerns about their employment experience and seek assistance from Human Resources (HR) or management, and we encourage you to reach out through our “open door” policy, speaking directly with the HR representative assigned to your department, or the “Ombudsman System” tool, which can be found within the Employee Voice Channels page.

Stability despite layoffs across the semiconductor industry

Lower compensation than competitors. The fab in Washington works on less exciting science than the one in Arizona
