Pros
TSMC RD has very good organization function design to develop many different tecnnology nodes in parallel. 10 years there are only two platforms in RD organization to develop two generations technology nodes in paraellel, In the last 5 years , TSMC RD organization was redesign by module process function , not by tecnhology node. So new RD organization is well designed to develop 4 different tecnhology nodes in parallel .
Cons
To delivery mature technology to market on schedule or even ahead schedule, the job loading and stress is quite big for their engineers & managers.
