Pros

It's one of the only places to work in Athens, GA, that isn't the University of Georgia.

Cons

There is a reason TSAV has difficulty keeping talented employees: the management team -- the CEO, in particular -- does not allow trained audio visual professionals to make decisions on their own, but instead makes hasty, uninformed decrees that cause projects to go over budget in both time and money. (This is such a common occurrence that employees have a nickname for the phenomenon.) Employees are required to work a minimum 47.5 hour work week (8:30am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday), with employees in the field commonly working between 50 and 60 hours a week.

We are fortunate to have a truly amazing team, and we are committed to providing them with the best possible support. Regarding your point about the need for a significant level of technical knowledge and proficiency to understand the work, We recognize the importance of this aspect. We are always looking for ways to enhance training and development opportunities to ensure our team is equipped with the necessary expertise. Thank you and please feel free to come discuss this in person with me if you have ideas that you would like to share. Sincerely, TSAV
