Pros

Nice benefits if you can make it past the 90 day probationary period. Small company with nice coworkers with similar interests.

Cons

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at the management level. Scenario 1 Owner: We want to move using Labtech as our main MSP model moving away from tiger paw & I would like for you to take under your wing. Manager 1: You must live by tiger paw as I am not used to how it works (This is a very unorganized micromanagement ticketing software) This software is expected to be used as you are working for time tracking purposes. If you complete all assigned tasks and submit tiger paw entries at the end of the day you are not using it to manager 1's preferred method and a complaint gets submitted to manager 2 that you are not completing entries even if you ask manager 1 for feedback on whether or not you are using tiger paw correctly. Scenario 2 Owner: I would like for you to research Exclaimer Signature Manager (right before lunch, learn it for the 1st time and see how it is configured in our environment and I left instructions with Manager 2 to give to you be prepared to go over this in an hour in a meeting with me.) as the license is up and I would like for you to complete an assigned task/project of researching comparable solutions to implement in our environment to provide my specific desired results. Manager 2 has been working on it touch base and pick up the project from there. Manager 2: Research research Exclaimer Signature Manager see how it works you may be asked to change a template or something. Meeting takes place project/gets assigned, I then take my lunch at 4pm. 45 minutes into lunch Manager 1 texts me to go home for the day as they want to be out and close the office by 5:30. I return submit my tiger paw entries for the day confirming with Manager 1 that entries were received accordingly and end my day at 5:30 exactly. Next day Working on Exclaimer Signature Manager assignment for owner. Manager 2 comes by to inform me that it has come to their attention that tiger paw entries are not being submitted this is after confirming that everything was entered before leaving yesterday. I am asked what I am working on by manager 2. (I explain that I am working on the Exclaimer Signature Manager PROJECT assigned to me by the owner.) Manager 2 is under the impression that this is supposed to take 30 minutes until I explained what tasks the owner assigned me which would clearly take more than 30 minutes only to be told that he explained to the owner to purchase the exchange server edition. We proceed to meet for training on the backend infrastructure side of things. Scenario 3 In completing training assignments with Manager 2 I am receiving very vague instructions (example: log onto the exchange management console rather than providing a link find the exchange server name and guess the URL to the management console based on the servers name. Same with vcenter etc. While working through these puzzled instructions I am expected to complete the tasks as if I already have been working in the environment on a regular basis. We finish this vague training by 12:20 and I am given 14 email chains containing multiple names per email chains and undefined appointments. Given the time frame I take a "lunch" (by that I go the car and try to make sense and appointments of these convoluted email chains and enter the tasks into my outlook calendar so that I can take care of the assignment at hand and it can synchronize with tiger paw so that I can take care of these assignments). Upon returning from "lunch" (if you call it that), I log on ready to work on these 14 remote assignments as I am logged on I get called in by Manager 2 to the owners office only to be let go "at will" as I am not perceived "to be a good fit for this position" I am informed of multiple complaints (that they will not go in to) for which I have not been coached on nor did I even know that I was doing wrong. In addition to missing appointments which were not defined in these 14 email chains/puzzles. I should have seen all of the reviews prior to accepting this position as clearly there are issues with the management structure in that of the company's directives.

Pros

I have worked for TRG Networking for going on 19 years now. Through it all I have seen good and not so good people come and go. That is the nature of this industry. What has always been constant, however, is that ownership and management have always been very focused on two things in particular. 1) Hiring people who fit in and by that I mean who care about the client, who can work well with others, who are not afraid to ask for help , who will roll their sleeves up and dig in especially if things are not going well on a project. 2) Taking care of our clients to the best of our ability and being proactive to keep them productive and safe. TRG still has some of the very first customers which is a real testament to the kind of caring and professional support they have provided over the years. I have enjoyed working her and I have been allowed to grow with as much support as I needed. I would encourage anyone looking for a career in IT where every day is challenging and different, where it seems like family and where you can go as far as your aspirations take you. Welcome to the family!!!

Cons

It is hard to find really good people that have the same dedication to our customers as the team does.
