- Endless restructures. Teams are constantly changing, strategies etc are always being redefined. Leaders act as if they know what’s happening but aren’t informed, resulting in constant uncertainty and low morale. - Leadership values agreement over honesty. It’s a “yes-man” culture where feedback only flows downwards. “Cohort of the willing” as it’s described. - The company talks avoids real innovation and follows others. Risk-taking is discouraged and it feels stifled. - Everyone is performing positivity outwardly, but behind the scenes most people are burnt out and looking to leave. - Feedback channels and employee surveys feel fixed and empty, questions are pointed and designed to steer responses rather than invite real input. Culture and diversity is performative. - Leadership communication is often tone-deaf. Hearing phrases like “get off the bus” and “change is hard” during change after change, lacks awareness and empathy. - Bullying is also ignored, someone accused of bullying won an award not long after with no formal investigation.
