Pros

Pay was okay. Co-workers and supervisors were amazing. No drug test for the Apple account.

Cons

I worked for the Apple account. Treated like criminals basically. If you have a phone on you in the floor you WILL be fired. Metal detectors to get in to the building. Oh my favorite? Shootings, bomb threats and fights all the time. They hire too many people at once and they don't really care about you at all. They say they are flexible with schedules which is a lie. So if you're a single mother, or father, or are going to school don't bother because they will still stick you with a 10-12 hour day schedule for full time. You can't bring anything in the building with you, it has to be locked in a locker which I've never heard of for a technical support call center before. Can't even have tissues on you or you will also be fired. Promise pay and breaks you never get. I was told I would be getting paid $12/hour after training and a 1 hour lunch break but instead it was really $10/ hour with a 30 minute lunch break which, in reality, was really only a 5 minute lunch break because by the time you got something to eat you had to be back (if you didn't pack a lunch which there is no point because they don't even have a fridge).

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
