Pros
The only positive comments I can make are that it is a full time job and the coworkers are great.
Cons
Starting at the beginning, teleperformance bought out aegis recently. Upon purchasing the business, they have completely stripped all your rights away. No cell phones in the building, no lunches, no umbrella if it's raining. Parking is in a baseball stadium field because they don't have enough parking for employees. However, the parking lot is divided with other businesses, and improper parking (some banned spaces are significantly closer to the building than other non-banned spaces.) Will result in your vehicle being towed at your expense. Expect that if you have a slightly later schedule, like 10am, you'll have a ten minute walk after parking. Next, they have guards posted at every door, not for employee protection, but to ensure you don't sneak in anything, like a candy bar or cellphone (tampons are even banned.) They do provide lockers! In another, seperate building altogether. Guards are equipped with metal detector rods, and soon will be accompanied by actual metal detectors as well. Next, the company took over in December, changed everything over from Aegis to Teleperformance. However, after changing all of the rules, they have failed to produce a new employee handbook, and instead are supplying new employees with aegis books and regulations. They often get paychecks wrong, and have even failed to pay employees on payday, requiring an investigation before providing pay. Benefits that were recently used to attract new job seekers via news programs (gas cards) have been pulled, and promised pay rate raises were scraped.
