Pros

Good place to pick up skills for other work, good start pay for technical support, semi-reasonable hours of work, that's about it really.

Cons

Employees are simply a number, despite what they try to tell you in training. Awful working conditions in Airdrie branch - broken air conditioning in the Summer, temperatures inside rising above the legal working temperature, awfully outdated PC's that freeze or break on call, broken headsets, overpriced canteen food that's caused more than its fair share of food poisoning, toilets can get disgusting (although the cleaners were probably the only people in that place that actually worked), management sit around all day doing nothing, most are uncooperative and uncaring, sit around watching football when it's on the TV.

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
