TORC Robotics Response

Thank you for the feedback. I agree that we cannot continue to operate the way we did when the company was 1/4 of the size it is today. In 2019, we will be implementing career development for all employees and have brought in outside consultants to assist/educate us on how to roll this out. Also, our theme for 2019 is setting Life Goals, not just Torc goals. Team members should not only be focused on Torc, but Health, Vacation and Community Goals. This should lead to a more balanced team, and empower team leaders to push back on leadership when demands are excessive. Thank you for the candid feedback; we can't get better without it.

Pros

Working at Torc has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The technology we're building is genuinely world-changing — autonomous trucking has the potential to transform how goods move across the country, and being part of that mission makes the work feel meaningful every single day. The pace is fast, which keeps things engaging. There's always something new to tackle, and the environment pushes you to grow quickly. If you thrive on momentum and like seeing your contributions matter, you'll feel right at home here. One thing that stands out is the flexibility around work hours. It's clear that leadership trusts employees to get the job done without micromanaging when or how you do it. That kind of autonomy makes a real difference for work-life balance.

Cons

The fast pace isn't for everyone — be ready to hit the ground running
