Pros

If you're friends or family of any of the higher-ups, you'll fit right in.

Cons

Absolutely no regard for modern corporate culture whatsoever. This is one of those places that you could work at for 30 years, never show up to work and no one would know. However, reputation is everything. Unless you're family, if they see you out at a bar (only seen this with women; men seem to be able to get as wasted as they want, unless that woman is hitting on another man), use a cuss word, wear too little makeup or don't "fit in" to their idea of company culture, you will be on your way out the door. There is so much of a "bro fraternity" mentality in this company, you will never make any ranks simply by hard work. The dichotomy of church going Southerner and wasted bar rat is astounding. This is entirely earned on getting "in" with whomever the big hot shot is at the time. They have a prayer chain that runs through the office they automatically opt you in (I imagine it's where many of them get their water cooler conversation, they will gossip mercilessly and they will churn more money from anybody that's willing to give them a heads-up. Their employee manual actually has the length in inches a woman should wear a skirt. It is not explicitly said but strongly implied that if you are not a Christian, they won't hire you. There is absolutely no diversity in the office. Not one minority works there. Not one person of a different religion works there. Every single one of the Board of Directors is male. Every. single. one. Their presidents have more money than God while the rest of the employees barely clear 30k. This is a Trump-esque corporation if I've ever seen one. Be prepared.
