Pros
TIFIN is the kind of place where the dynamic and the curious can actually thrive - this is a terrific environment for ambitious self-starters who are willing to put in the work. You're given space and support to grow in whichever direction you choose. You'll be surrounded by people who really want to build, create, and deliver real value to their clients, and are able and willing to pivot quickly from experiment to experiment to make things work. It's in a lot of little cultural things - emails get responded to right away, meetings are quick and productive, and I've never been told "no" to an idea. TIFINers waste the least time of anywhere I've ever worked and are across the board friendly and enthusiastic about sharing information and skills.
Cons
To succeed at TIFIN, you have to be curious, nimble, and a hard worker. I really recommend it - it taught me a huge amount - but I can see that people who are used to doing things a certain way or who need a lot of structure might struggle. The TIFIN environment is designed to be flexible and cutting-edge and people who lean into that get more out of it than they put in - TIFIN really does take its values seriously - but if that does not sound like you, you won't be happy here.
