Pros
You really don't have to do anything to get a paycheck. The office is nice and so are the grounds.
Cons
Management does nothing. The senior level of management has no idea about the day to day working of the business. Middle management does nothing to improve the problems that are currently happening because they do not want to jeopardize their easy good paying job. TIAA Cref good be a great place to work if the right people where in place in management. The company tells you about career growth within the company but HR department is the worse I have ever seen. The only people that seem to advance at the company are those that come from the outside TIAA. If you want to enjoy what you do and have leave your workday feeling good about your work, make sure you work somewhere else. There is a tight good ole boy network alive at TIAA. Management says they want to hear how things need to be improved but once they get the information nothing gets done about it. I mean nothing.
