Peter Principal alive here. Incompetence is promoted. Senior Leadership says the right thing, but no walk to the talk. - Former Manager TIAA Employee Review

Pros

Roger seems to have a good message, however, unless some changes are made at the top, this company will continue to decline. The current leadership, for the most part, are the one's responsible for the current issues.

Cons

No communication between business areas; no consistent accountability of poor performers; high performers are asked to do more, with little to no recognition. About as dysfunctional place as I have worked in my career. One example is the Omni conversion. Years past due, millions over budget, and the culprits now have been promoted. Things that happen at this company and pass as performance would be grounds for dismissal at other places. It is a very passive aggressive environment and this tone is modeled from Senior Leadership behavior and politics. There is little teamwork between business areas, and with the economy down, has become more back stabbing than ever.

Pros

Great work life balance, good benefits, decent pay, ease of running your own practice as an “advisor”, and healthy work environment

Cons

Management styles can vary and affect your experience, upper management doesn’t seem to be well equipped to ensure the organization’s success but it is resilient nonetheless.
