Pros

The month-long training process at Telus Tower was as pleasant, helpful, and involving as a new employee could hope for. The offices are well designed, a great environment to work in, and the people are lovely.

Cons

"Production", where all Support Advisors eventually go, is a murky bunker of an office building across the street from Telus tower, at 1060 Bourassa. It's dilapidated, the work space is filthy and run-down, little to no amenities for employees, the AC doesn't work. It is chaos, with no structure whatsoever. Despite preaching openness and opportunity and positivity, management is duplicitous, cliquey, and merciless. Employees are lied to, from the start. Instead of easing new employees as initially promised, they are thrust into a handling multiple customer chats at a time, with no advance notice. What recruits are told is a "let's just show you what it's like, no pressure" exercise is actually a Hunger Games style competition where the bottom-ranking third are immediately fired after two days of exercises.

Pros

remote job that pays well, provides all equipment, and had benefits. The whole process of getting hired was an ease and they have overtime available. Sr advisors were nice and flexible if you have kids and appointments. i worked 2 months postpartum

Cons

Lack of social interaction, There's a lot of terminology and scripts you have to learn and you have to really apply yourself mentally. you are graded on each call for staying on script and all aspects of the workflow.

Pros

Company culture is very relaxed and laid back. The people who work here build some of the best products for the biggest clients in the world. Bar-none, I’ve never worked with more intelligent and passionate people ever. There is pride in efficiency, quality, and so much more.

Cons

Management is very… out of touch? Not at their own fault to be clear, but out of business processes. It’s difficult for them to grow and promote employees because they’re constantly shifted from one team to the next. The pay is “Meh” at best, and nowhere near the industry standard, but it is safe.
