Pros

-Private healthcare, sports card -If the right people like you you can get an easy promotion

Cons

This place is filled with incompetent leaders and I have never seen such toxic environment in my whole career. The former management tried to motivate agents through fear. It was an regular topic on leadership meetings, not some accidental outcome. This resulted in bursts of productivity and a large number of people leaving or going on mental health sick leave due to stress. After the "fear" leadership was removed Telus sent a new manager who made a promise that all the mental health sick leaves will be investigated and retaliated towards. I believe the above story tells why I wouldn't recommend working for this company. Teamleads receive zero training, so it's common that they put faith in their team members based on gender, physical fitness, race, religion or anything apart from actual competence for the job. There's very little support, possibility for career advancement, there are cases of sexual harassment, mobbing and all sorts of bullying. I cannot press this enough: this is not a healthy environment, you can find way better jobs for a similar salary. Stay away!

Pros

Company culture is very relaxed and laid back. The people who work here build some of the best products for the biggest clients in the world. Bar-none, I’ve never worked with more intelligent and passionate people ever. There is pride in efficiency, quality, and so much more.

Cons

Management is very… out of touch? Not at their own fault to be clear, but out of business processes. It’s difficult for them to grow and promote employees because they’re constantly shifted from one team to the next. The pay is “Meh” at best, and nowhere near the industry standard, but it is safe.
