Pros
The workplace feels very family-like and tight-knit. Management is awesome and always check up on me to make sure I have what I need to be successful here. I was a bit skeptical coming from a busy college life accepting this position but they are super flexible and understanding of my personal life. I've worked in other places where you just feel like another employee but since it's so small, everyone pretty much loves you because they know to be here you have to have great value and skills to add like everyone else. There's a mix of young & older employees so as a college student coming in it wasn't too intimidating. Overall, the company is growing and doing great and I don't see a reason why I wouldn't see myself here in the future. A great place to work!
Cons
It was overwhelming trying to understand the engineering language but I feel like that comes with any job you start. You'll have to understand what your working for to be more successful and TEC makes up for it with their employees and they helped me understand it better. They take time out of their day and explain to me what certain things do and how the industry goes. I'm still struggling with understanding but I learn something new almost every day just through a regular conversation with them. If you know about engineering already, then this isn't a con for you.
