      Pros

      At the corporate HQ some young, smart and super friendly people; really good work-life balance and some good cultural aspects

      Cons

      Most VP and Board level execs are old school, paternalistic and not top talent in many cases. Company will probably never become truly great because of this. Current management will not take this company where it could be. Issues are structural and some go all the way to Board-level dynamics and governance.

      Pros

      Modern church with exciting staff that are interested in reaching people in the Matthews, NC area. Casual work environment and close-knit staff. The lead pastor is very accessible. Collaborative environment and tons of volunteers who want to be involved.

      Cons

      As with most church structures, there's not much room for advancement. Budgets are tight. Hours include some week nights and most Sunday mornings for services.
