You are just there to make senior management and by that I mean the top people in the US, look good by way of reports and endless conference calls instead of actually doing you're job. HR are truly awful people and wield the power. To them you are just a number on a payroll and will readily conspire to get rid of you for any number or reasons they think fit using underhand tactics to do so.
