TCG Network Services

Is this your company?

They hate new people, don't bother. - Sales and Marketing Administrator TCG Network Services Employee Review

Pros

- Can survive COVID lockdowns, miraculously. - Great opportunities for menial tasks! - Extremely unprofessional to the point where you might actually get away with smack talk within earshot of employees and they just sort of accept it's a feature of the company environment. So go ahead, be a the most unlikable person possible.

Cons

- You will be called the 'f-ing new guy' (FNG for short, no this isn't a joke) by the management. This will also come with the same office etiquette that is similar to how it was 40 years ago. - You will be yelled at by everyone and your intelligence will be insulted. - All mistakes will be pinned on you and that will be enough to get you a nice 'short term' employment here that isn't worth putting on any resume. - Workload from day one is overwhelming, despite being super easy. You will be stretched far too thin and it will somehow be your fault. If you attempt to suggest how to make any process better, you will be ignored or yelled at even more.

Pros

This is a good and decent company to work for. The owners understand the need for balance of work/family life and know the importance of personal time off. They will often go above and beyond to help one of their employees. Being a part of this team for a long time, I’ve personally witnessed the company having been taken advantage of by those that feel entitled. Employees are expected to work normal business hours and are not forced to work overtime and not be compensated. Paid overtime is available and health insurance benefits are certainly reasonable. They also offer a 401k plan with match on contributions. For me, annual reviews on performance and compensation have always been on-time.

Cons

In any customer service business, stress goes along with the job since everyone needs help, right now! To that end, you can’t please all of the people, all of the time. Learn to separate from those demanding customers that do not want to pay for premium support but expect it, just because. It’s okay to let them know that finding another provider is an option for them.
