Pros

- The business has a great pedigree and has been extremely successful in the past - This business attracts some amazing talent and you will meet lots of smart people - Generous salaries

Cons

- There is a hubris born of success and tcc is slap bang stuck in the past, dreaming of its previous triumphs with no respect for new talent with new ideas - they like to do things the way they've always been done - There is no strategy - it's waffle, big clients are what they like but there is no thought beyond that, and you would be remiss to suggest that business could do more - Absolute denial that the business is in peril and the competition is starting to eat tcc's lunch for breakfast - The business model is fixed, outdated and old fashioned, do not expect any flexibility - The CEO talks about values constantly but the business doesn't uphold them, they are surface values - The culture is truly toxic and driven by fear - people live with the fear of losing their jobs - the impression is that this stems from the founders constantly interfering with the business the CEO letting them do so - Without wanting to sound ageist the founders and the executive team are of a certain age, digital business practice and product has been cast aside as a dalliance because it appears that they don't understand it and/or are not open to learning about it

Pros

Nice office. Nice home office.

Cons

Summary: My experience was severely undermined by a manager who consistently prioritized appearing favorable to superiors while neglecting and mistreating her own team. The dissonance between her external image and internal treatment of subordinates was both striking and demoralizing. Key Concerns: 1. Two-Faced Leadership Behavior · The manager consistently engaged in excessive upward appeasement, portraying herself as a model employee to higher leadership while displaying a stark lack of empathy toward her own team. · This “performative loyalty” created a culture where impressing superiors mattered more than supporting subordinates. 2. Favoritism and Exclusionary Cliques · She openly favored a small inner circle, granting them preferential treatment, visibility, and credit, while marginalizing those outside it. · Opportunities and recognition were often based on alignment with her personal image rather than actual performance or merit. 3. Psychological Pressure & Unfair Treatment · Employees outside the favored group faced constant criticism, micromanagement, and undervaluation, · The atmosphere was divided and stressful, eroding trust and team cohesion. 4. Lack of Genuine Support & Professional Growth · Despite presenting herself as a “role model” to upper management, she provided little meaningful mentorship or advocacy for her team’s development. · Growth paths felt opaque and unfairly controlled, often benefiting only those who fits her personally.

Pros

- 2 days WFH - good medical benefits/ insurance policy

Cons

- inconsistency in benefits across regions, eg. HK WFH ix fixed on Mon + Friday VS UK/ other EU offices can pick any 2 days - unclear career path as there is no promotion system in place - imbalance resources allocation across team (eg. budgeting/ promotions) - short visioned strategy which is updated annually - constant changes on organisation chart
