Pros

Passion, focus, fun and results-orientated

Cons

The challenge for Tandberg was to survive in consolidated world they needed to be acquired. The acquisition meant many of the unique parts of Tandberg culture disappeared and were replaced by large MNC-culture, instead of start-up passionate mindset

Pros

Great place to work if you are interested in work/life balance. The company sells videoconferencing so employees ( depending on manager approval) can work from home. Free lunch in Reston and Oslo offices. Average age early thirties.International crowd in you work in the headquarter offices

Cons

very few opportunities for growth, salary below average. People are not particularly bright ( after all you don't need a master to work for TANDBERG USA), so not many opportunities for learning new methods or management. Good positions are only given to Norwegians. Marketing department has very bad management, a lot of micromanagement. Beware of any job in product marketing or global marketing as managers are terrible.
