Pros

The employees (who arn't family) are the only positive.

Cons

Where to begin. The CEO! My goodness, delusional doesn't cut it. She thinks she's built a software that's rivalling Cognism and ZoomInfo when in reality she's being laughed at. Before you take the job I IMPLORE you to take a trial of the software, you'll be laughing too!! She will tell you that VC funding is 'just round the corner' when in reality they've been waiting on this funding for 4 years. Do not fall for it. The last time they actually did get funding they burnt through it faster than you can blink and have 0 to show for it. The bills don't get paid on time (Finance is managed by a family member) meaning a plethora of issues. Sometimes you're locked out of the office, sometimes your Salesforce doesn't work, sometimes suppliers haven't been paid meaning you've got stale data and sometimes you're pension contributions arn't paid on time. Brown envelopes turning up at the office are a regular occurrence. Again you'll find yourself laughing, but not because its funny. Assuming you're in sales for the commission good luck on this front. No one has ever earn't big here. Targets are unachievable and even if you do hit you're paid a pittance. Once you haven't hit the astronomically high targets for a couple f months you are discarded as a poor rep and the CEO will look to sack you. I could go on and on but hopefully you have the message by now. DO NOT ignore the other negative reviews on here they are all accurate. The positive ones are posted by the CEO and her family members, see 'google for business', 'CEO is best in class' etc. If you are desperate enough to still want the job after reading this then I wish you the best of luck and look forward to reading your Glassdoor review of this dive when you inevitably leave.

Pros

It’s been an experience I will probably never forget, you’ll grow close with your team because we are all trauma bonded

Cons

There were several red flags I missed before even starting and they continued to get worse. My contract was addressed to the incorrect person, I was told at the interview it was 4 days in the office which would be brought down to 3 but it hasn’t happened yet because there’s “no trust” even though the current sales team has produced the most amount of revenue for the company to date. I wasn’t told when I took the job about the weird way in which commission is paid and the fact that you’ll never get commission worth the effort you put in. Office days are used as a punishment meaning you’ll never be happy going into the office because of the micromanagement environment. Management and CEO will get involved in all your deals because they want to have the win themselves, meaning you’ll never learn anything new. I was also told before taking this job that opinions are taken on board as a startup but that’s just a lie, if you don’t agree with the CEO you just get shut down and embarrassed on the sales floor. Since starting there have been so many impulsive changes that have actually held the team back all because it’s what the CEO wants. Targets for AEs are so unachievable it’s funny. People get fired with no real reason, all you need to do is ask about the turnover and you’ll see for yourself, we are all on edge over job security. My overall advice if you’re looking at a job here is to not ignore the bad reviews, it’s what I did and I’ve regretted it ever since. Don’t be led to believe the new management are making changes because they aren’t, everything said in the negative reviews from 3 years ago is the same to this day, which just shows the cycle this company is stuck in.
