Pros

The rate of pay is good Product quality is Great

Cons

Where do i start?!! * Communication...or lack of it! * Inadequate training - multiple choice questions to answer once you have read through an information sheet is not sufficient training for a new starter, new product launches or health and safety! *No travel to training is paid for no matter how long the journey. Management - If you're friends with area managers or director then you will have it easy! Stroll into work when you want, and most importantly get to treat all your in store employees like absolute dirt without any of the higher management batting an eyelid! a * Higher management often give you false praise and give you extra responsibility to 'enable' you to work your way up, however when a promotions comes up you're often told you're 'too valued' in your current position to be moved. A complete unfair and discriminating structure for people who want new opportunities. The Company - How they have been in the UK for 5 years without so much as even having an employee handbook i don't know! if they don't want you to do something or don't agree with what you say, then they throw 'policies and procedures' at you.... none of which are in writing. *You are made aware of New Launches, Re merches, and Stock take dates with little notice and are expected to change peoples shifts accordingly. People basically have to drop their life and their plans because the company are insufficient and to inconsiderate to give you adequate notice. * The company has lost all the amazing original values. Unilever has taken over and the whole company ethics have gone down the drain

Pros

The customer base was great to work with. Training was fairly simple and you got to learn many different sales techniques that let you progress further. You were taught a lot about the subject and during lockdown they took advantage of this and would have meetings via Teams so they could still pay us.

Cons

Unfortunately there weren't many hours, meeting the quota on slow days in a coffee centric area was difficult and they mostly sold loose leaf. There were no benefits for part-time even if they ended up working full-time hours.
