Pros

The pro's are non-existant, truly.

Cons

There are a lot of issues I encountered at T2 from the horrid culture and astmosphere to the repetitiveness of my project. Project's - I was mainly set one project and had no leeway to move onto something different, even when requested. From being on the same task for the entirety of my employment the repetitiveness really wore me down - I had no stimulation and hardly no conversation with others in my team, an atmosphere that was really stifling- it really was a sit down job that you had to keep to yourself for 8+ hours with no breaks to talk to others or to take a breather. Ill- Equipped - Due to my part-time nature or for reasons beyond my knowledge I was not given a proper PC setup for almost the entirety I was employed for which I needed to complete my tasks on. They did provide a laptop but I was the only employee who had one, and the 3D programmes struggled to run, this further cemented my feelings on being outcasted. Project management - The level of critique of my work was under was harsh to say the least, it was scrutinised down to the millisecond and was such a repetitve process, it was never & could never be 'good' enough and there was always something to be done or that could be polished to infinitum. Culture - One of the worst culture's of any company I have worked at, as other reviews have said I will echo with my own employment that I got comments for being 'out the door' at 5:30 and constant comments of not being sure which days I worked, even though they were the same throughout my entire employment. - Pizza was offered to staff who worked through their lunch breaks with not even the scraps offered to those not wanting to give up their legal right to a break. - Very quite and awkward atmosphere in the studio. I had maybe 5 conversation's for my training with my allocated 'senior' but again I don't think conversation in general was encouraged & I gained very little. Sexism? - One comment has stuck with me in regards to the tone and nature. It was said to me when I mentioned wanting to move onto different projects that 'in your area of work (3D artist) it is mostly men and I'm going to have to work harder to get where I need to be' I don't think gender comes into the equation and felt it very weird to have it be a comment of it. Wage - Because I requested to be part-time they offered me minimum wage, lower than the other junior 3D Artists in the company and lower than the industry standard. Final note - Towards the end of my employment I would dread going into work and it really took an impact on my mental health, they would contact me outside of work hours and the repetitiveness of my project made it feel like everyday was on a loop. I would often cry multiple times per week to the point where I would cry at work, I could not in good faith recommend it to anyone.

Pros

The other artists are great people

Cons

Lets put it this way. If I had a choice between working at T2 again for 10x the pay I was on, I still wouldn't go back. By far the worst company i've ever worked with. Long hours. 8:30 - 19:00 at the minimum. You'll also get asked to work later and at weekends. I ended up working 26+ hours in a row one time to get a job out. They wanted to keep me at my desk to carry on working that full day as well. It took me falling asleep to get them to realise i needed to go home No overtime pay... No care for your health/welfare or that of your family. For years they had a Senior Artist working out of his garage late at night. He ended up getting Pneumonia and being rushed to hospital where he almost died. The company had him working long nights in that garage again within a week of him coming out of hospital... Will just change your job role and title without discussing it with you first. The pay is abysmal! You might as well work at Sainsburys down the road. Its a lot less stress

Pros

I have worked for T2 for over 10 years now and can honestly say to anyone looking at the negative reviews that have recently cropped up that it is not a true reflection of the company. T2 has been a fantastic company that I feel privileged to work for. For those who are willing to actually work for what they want in life as opposed to sitting back and expecting handouts for doing nothing then hard work and dedication are often rewarded. I started as a design apprentice many years ago and worked hard to progress up the career ladder from the very bottom to reach where I currently am within the company. T2 helped and encouraged me to learn and progress in my career with them every step of the way. I am not the only employee that this support was shown to and the other members that have worked towards goals have also worked their way up within the company to more senior roles. Along with this I have also received excellent support on a personal level from the managers and directors within the company, they have shown an amazing amount of compassion and support through some of the worst personal times in my life and allowed me flexibility in my working hours to ensure that my mental health and work/life balance are looked after. Again there are multiple members of staff that have been shown the same support by management. In complete honesty I have seen employees have their flexible working requests declined but this has been down to them proving to be unreliable to work outside of the office environment. As for social events and team building, these do happen and aren't just "pizza party's" as previously mentioned in a review but it is optional for each employee if they would like to come along or not. As much as i do love a pizza party! I have participated in activities such as Golf Fang, Meals out, trips to the pub after work, Alton towers, Bowling, Spa days, bottomless brunches, nights out and go karting. As much as they try to accommodate everyone its not always possible and they shouldn't be made out to be non existent just because it was not to that individuals taste and they chose not to attend. I suppose the long and short of it all is that like any workplace, if you work hard and show willing then there are plenty of opportunities that arise, Nothing in life gets handed out to you if you are just putting in the bare minimum. I love my job and the people i work with. Pros: Plenty of opportunities for progression Exciting and varied projects Supportive Co workers Friendly atmosphere

Cons

some jobs can be tedious but it is the same no mater where you work, There is always the jobs that no one likes to do.
