Pros

- teams have a mix of fun small talk and letting you work heads down. There’s a good chance you will find a best friend on your team - work hard play hard mentality - they will give you a good amount of leniency. If you mess up they will give you another chance. But don’t push it - a pro-learning culture - they will encourage you to do your best - due to the culture you might land yourself in an awesome team. Was very inspiring when I first started programming - one of the best professional cultures out there. Did I say culture enough?

Cons

- You will basically be a soldier. If they tell you they want you to go in a certain direction you have to comply. Some teams will not ask you to do something you’re strong at doing but if you’re a flexible and hard worker you will be fine - 8pm deployments (on average once every two weeks but it fluctuates) - if you do not like to talk to people it might be hard to fit in - there are bad managers out there as in any company. You will get assigned to a random team and you might get someone bad. It’s a dice roll - higher management will put a lot of different demands on you that might not make sense. But if you can handle it you will be fine

Pros

Total compensation is competitive, new hires are eager to jump in, and it seems like a company strategy is finally coming together. Things continue to move slowly though because projects from the loudest voice or most tenured associates tend to get prioritized and throw off critical investments into fixing data, process, and tech debt issues to mature our ability to market like it’s 2026 instead of 2016.

Cons

Too many bottlenecks to execution; If you’re seeking to make a meaningful impact, don’t expect it fast. Expect to navigate uncertainty while the company claims to help clients do this for their portfolios instead of helping associates to help clients — This is branded fluff for leadership without clear direction, driving teams to waste too much time and energy in meetings and boring demo decks every month to make being busy look like value by being the loudest voice, which is what you’ll notice many of the most tenured associates do best. Slides might look pretty but AI doesn’t make sense of this noise and clients don’t benefit from all the hours spent in PowerPoint. Unclear ownership leads to internal redundancies or team friction, on top of the inconsistent documentation and fragmented data siloes that are ironically impeding readiness for AI mandates coming from the CEO.
