Pros

I think this is a great place if you want to learn and advance your career. The management will look for your strengths and provide you opportunity to advance. You get to see every aspect of job. Albeit, like in all small companies, you can't hide behind computer screen or cubicle. I have been richly rewarded with experience. I was never micromanaged, had all the freedom to suggest new approaches some got implemented some did not. If you just want a desk job, don't bother. The technology is great, product is much loved and has good customer loyalty. Office culture is Texas-friendly.

Cons

You have to be above average in intelligence. Not shy. Customer demands can be little taxing at times. If you are not familiar with commercial construction domain, expect to spend ramp-up time learning the lingo.

Pros

The Projectmates product solves real problems and has meaningful potential in the construction tech space. With continued investment and focus, it can be genuinely best-in-class. Many employees are smart, dedicated, and deeply invested in doing right by customers, even during periods of change. Exposure to a wide range of responsibilities provides strong learning opportunities, especially for people who enjoy wearing multiple hats and contributing beyond a narrow role.

Cons

Expectations can be high, and the environment may feel intense during busy periods. This is not a slow-paced or highly segmented organization.

Pros

-The product itself has potential and could be great with the right leadership and structure. -Some coworkers genuinely try their best despite the environment. -You’ll learn how not to run a company.

Cons

-Complete lack of structure, clear processes, or accountability. -All ideas and decisions funnel through one small-minded individual, which stifles growth and innovation. -Extremely toxic culture: employees are spoken to disrespectfully, called inappropriate names, and made to feel disposable. -Unhealthy expectation that your entire life should revolve around Projectmates. Boundaries are not respected. -Rampant bait-and-switch behavior regarding roles, responsibilities, and expectations. -Promotions are often given to people with little to no experience in the area they’re leading. -Clear patterns of ageism, sexism, and racism that are ignored or minimized by leadership. -Leadership is all talk and no follow-through. Promises are made and quietly abandoned. -Serious negative impact on mental health; burnout is normalized and dismissed.
