Thank you for your note and honest feedback. There is a lot to unpack in your note so let me take a couple of themes.
The last 12 months have seen quite a few changes - and as you I think say at the end of your note, are intended to improve our business - of course as a business, but in particular for our customers and colleagues. Indeed, the integration of 2 separate business units into a single healthcare division was primarily driven by feedback from our customers that we were becoming increasingly complex to deal with.
I acknowledge that integration is always hard, but it is important sometimes that we do integrate our company and break down silos which inevitably appear over time. I am also conscious that when we do programmes of change like this, that we learn the lessons to improve things next time, so thank you for your feedback.
On gender pay, I would like to point you towards our recently published gender pay document which concludes that as an organisation we have made great strides forward over the past 2 years and are performing better than most companies in our industry. As an example our median gender pay gap across the company is -5.2%, in favour of women, which means that women are paid on average 5.2% more than men. This is a 3.9% increase on 2021..... but there is always more to do and we remain focused on this and other areas of DE&I.
thank you again for taking the time to write and let me wish you the best for the future.
