Pros

As a field technician, it is nice to be able to do repairs on your own and make a little money here and there.

Cons

Was not paid for some work completed over finnicky policies. One one such job, the repair made on one unit was completed and the client was fully satisfied. The website form uploader was not working correctly so the faxed form was a few days late and I was not paid 85.00 dollars because they claimed that the form was not submitted properly ,even though I sent it via email on time. Next, I drove over 100 miles to do a repair and Syntechs sent the wrong parts. I was not paid anything for this job. When I asked why, I was told because I did not submit enough pictures, even though I submitted a picture of the serial number which did not match the part that the company sent.

Pros

This is a very solid company, well evolved. I have never been unpaid for my efforts, concerning contracts that I have rendered for them. The rate of payment is adequate for the amount of work required, and some times overly generous in situations that require special attention or escalated efforts. The management provides guidance in all aspects of involvement, casual yet strict, friendly yet formal, while understanding the complexities and challenges in forefilling the needs of all parties involved. Management of any company this size is a difficult undertaking, and as such, they deal with the complications of daily process far better than other companies I have encountered.

Cons

Like any other company in America, times change, rules change, and requirements change, this is no different with the Syntechs Corporation. I have had brief pay delays in receiving payment for my services rendered. As such, I fully understand the reason behind pay delays to me, as funding delays from manufacturers whom contract the Syntechs Company to sub-contract technical professionals to render services, has a trickle down adverse effect on all parties concerned, not just the technician in the field... trickle down funding delays affect all parties concerned! I have personally experienced these situations, but I have never went unpaid for my services, I have always been paid, and generously compensated in situations of challenging nature. My pay has been delayed, but never withheld.
