Pros

Before you spare your valuable time, its worth mentioning that the HR says that they do not believe in their Glass door reviews and rating (well at-least not when its not in their favour)..if you believe otherwise then enjoy this essay-long review..after all its hard to contain honest stuff in 10-word bullets... - In their own words , “free lunches, fruits and most importantly annual outing." (most important, not to be missed!!...or at least that's what 10% of the employees feel). If these are enough to satisfy you, kudos you have just found your DREAM company! - Now and then you will be asked to promote the company on LinkedIn, etc...if you are into charity...well there you go, a perfect opportunity! - Oh, and you will probably be working in the "future-Mckinsey" (not my words, please!). James McKinsey turns in his grave again and again every time this is uttered.

Cons

- in case of any issues with the manager, don't bother involving the senior manager or even the oh-so-impartial HR. at the end of hours of discussion, you will be made guilty of making the other party CRY (literally, or so i was told..) by bringing up your grievance in the first place!! And there is no point continuing with them once you raise such a grievance, they will come up with all sorts of reasons to pressurise you..well because managerial EGO has to be taken care of ! - continuing from the above point , while its great to see the HR and managers work hand-in-glove, at least ensure that you guys are on the same page before you gang-up and corner an employee. These mistakes happen specially when building up a farce, but memorising dialogues and doing some practice (just like theatre i guess) in advance is all it takes. I shudder to even imagine how embarrassing it must be if someone points out that 2 members of same "team" are making opposite statements and even MORE EMBARRASSING when they turn red and fumble "No no..that's not what we said.." on being pointed out the same.....so much so for consultancy attracting the sharpest minds.... - don't expect even basic professional communication..you will be told off with "I DON'T KNOW how to talk/speak", so be done with it! ...and you thought consultants are good at communication.. - more than any other training, their managers need self-confidence lessons..i have never come across people at mid and senior mgmt. so insecure about themselves that their only feel-good solutions are to either rant about their alma mater being better (in whatever ways they can think of.. only God knows) or disclose their pay package (yes.. and that too with the break up of fixed and variable) - keep your SYCOPHANCY-GAME on at all times..otherwise manager will blame you for IGNORING him (whatever that is supposed to mean, i don't even want to begin to wonder...) - in case you are asked to work on proposal after proposal during probation period, with the excuse that "actual deals/ billable work" are reserved for those "in line for promotion"..start looking for another job. Because that's a great excuse to lengthen your probation period- "we haven't seen enough output from you". And you are told before joining that there is so much work to do...what exactly...i don't think even they know.. - No cab service for female employees for home-drop..not even for Delhi airport commute at odd-hours...HR advises you to use your own car for daily commute, because "Are you mad to travel by metro/uber that late at night!!". (so much concern, i know!!) SO LADIES, buy a car if you are considering joining! because its not "economical" for them to spend on their own employees' safety.

Pros

I have been closely involved with day to day operations of this company with the founders and have loved the environment here. Worked remotely but received much help from the managers. Learned quite a few things there which I have then used in my next job roles.

Cons

Working from office should be an option that should be made available ever for young interns/ consultants.
