Pros

Free food some times. There was one employee that was really exited about everything and he definitely made my experience bearable.

Cons

Lack of communication. Quality bar is pretty low. The office is way too small. Office location is within a reservation so there are some rules about where you can or cannot be. Also a very invasive application to be able to work at the location. No actual perks. Palm dessert doesn't have much going on for it. Unless you are a Dev there isn't much to learn from. I had a really dull experience

Pros

It was just a really great place to work.

Cons

The pandemic finally (after more than a year) forced mass layoffs.

Pros

The people in the entry level positions and most of the leadership (specifically the team leadership) there are really great, nice people. Sometimes there will be food in the kitchen for people. Really great coffee machine.

Cons

The CEO running the show had no idea what they were doing, and it's clear they only got their position with good conversational skills and no actual knowledge of the gaming industry or what it takes to produce them. Did not ever care to listen to the opinion of the experts that were hired for their knowledge, and continued to demand that tasks that should've taken weeks take days, to the detriment of the product (at which point of course everyone else would be blamed), and the eventual layoff of 90% of the company. And as all of this is happening, the lying, manipulative, verbally abusive, and overall unprofessional HR representative is the ribbon around the whole package. The phrase "power hungry dictator" comes to mind. Never with the CEO was around of course. And when HR is the problem, no one knows who they can even go to. Especially when the CEO sees a very different side.
