      Good salary and culture, but difficult to get promoted - Senior Consultant Syneos Health Employee Review

      Pros

      Salary is good and work-life balance isn't too bad for (consulting). Don't have to travel much to client site either as most clients prefer remote working due to being in Europe / US.

      Cons

      Two promotion cycles per year but many people are currently drastically overdue promotion due to org. structure imbalances. Favouritism commonly believed to exist, with certain individuals always getting the best projects, promotions etc.

      Great line Management structure. They really care about the full person.

      Bonus unstable for number of year. Not significant opportunity to move up.

      You are never bored due to constant work

      Cons

      Lab is run horribly. Sample Management never sees promotions. Starting salary is good and then you’re trapped in quicksand. I was graded as the highest possible rating for my merit increase and got a $0.26 hourly increase. The company doesn’t care about everyone working on the back end of studies.
