      You learn a lot of cool things and gain good experience. I feel valued by my peers

      Cons

      Line Managers do not address quality in any meaningful way with their direct reports so you have to do it for them. Lots of box checking tasks that do not add value. Pressure to say yes to Client Requests even when there is no effective way to implement what they're asking for.

      You are never bored due to constant work

      Cons

      Lab is run horribly. Sample Management never sees promotions. Starting salary is good and then you’re trapped in quicksand. I was graded as the highest possible rating for my merit increase and got a $0.26 hourly increase. The company doesn’t care about everyone working on the back end of studies.
