Pros

My immediate team was awesome, gained efficiency in Salesforce and other platforms, and the ability to work fully remote (if you don’t live near a city with an office).

Cons

1. My role was growth and commission based, my commission checks were consistently inaccurate. 2. The team I was on was treated very differently from the other sales teams. We would often joke that our team was the exiled step child of Syndigo. 3. I know I said working remote as a positive but only if you weren’t near an office. If you were near an office- you were forced to go in with little exception. I wouldn’t mind going into the office if they hadn’t also cut our commuter benefits. 4. Speaking of cutting benefits! Syndigo moved to a different (worse) health insurance provider during my tenure. It was an obvious play to save money for the company but it came at the employee’s expense. 5. This should probably be #1- I witnessed upsetting behaviors which made me feel Syndigo does not provide a safe workplace for women. 6. At the end of 2022 my team was asked to comb through all our accounts and determine which accounts had the most growth potential. Literally every single account with notable growth potential was moved to another team. Meanwhile, any accounts with cancellations or low growth projections were moved to our team. This also detrimentally impacted our pay as our commission came largely from renewals and we inherited all the customers who wanted to cancel their contracts. 7. The business development teams were probably my least favorite part of Syndigo. They were teams intended to drive business, but they make egregious mistakes and are never held accountable or taught to do better. Very frustrating to work with as the RS team is tasked with cleaning up their mistakes. 8. Quick sum up of why I left: there is no incentive to do well because the pay is inadequate either way. Growth or professional development is not attainable- promotions are few and raises are low.

Pros

This has been one of the better company cultures I’ve experienced. People care about doing good work and helping each other succeed, with competition focused externally rather than within teams. There’s a lot of opportunity to take ownership and grow if you’re proactive. Leadership is transparent about where things are headed and why, and there are a number of professional development opportunities. There’s also a clear commitment to work-life balance, with things like weekly quiet hours and Flex Fridays during the summer.

Cons

During periods of change, priorities can shift quickly. That said, I've seen those create new opportunities for growth and advancement.

Pros

I've really enjoyed my time at Syndigo. The people are one of the company's biggest strengths. Everyone I've worked with has been friendly, supportive, and genuinely willing to help each other succeed. There is a collaborative culture where employees care about their work and enjoy being part of the team. I especially love working on my team. We collaborate well, support one another, and genuinely enjoy working together. It's rare to find a group that works so effectively while maintaining such a positive atmosphere. I also appreciate the strong work-life balance. There is flexibility and trust, which allows me to do my best work while still maintaining time for my family and personal life. Overall, it's been a positive place to grow professionally while working alongside talented colleagues who are invested in helping each other and our customers succeed.

Cons

I don't have any significant cons to note based on my experience. Like any growing company, there are always opportunities to refine processes, but overall my experience has been very positive.
