Pros

- Great benefits package including medical, dental, optical, AD&D, parking/transport expenses, and more - Not all jobs are remote but many are - Sometimes you get a Christmas gift in the mail - Many of the people who work there are very nice

Cons

- Incredibly poor communication amongst teams. The company is split into multiple divisions and they do a very bad job of talking to each other. Working in Photography, on more than one occasion I didn't find out that someone from Editing was fired until a week later. More than once, I sent a message and didn't receive a response only to later find out they had left the company or been fired. - As you might guess from above, during the time I worked here talent retention was very poor. There was an alarming pattern that consisted of: someone in middle management is let go -> their responsibilities are given to another person -> that person becomes overwhelmed -> that person is fired. This happened several times while I was there, up to and including the entire closure of a branch of operations even after employees worked for months to fix problems created by previous poor management. - Compensation for full-time Photographers is not competitive. Most positions start at $15/hr but there are people who have been working for the company for years who still make $13/hr. Annual "performance" raises do not cover COL increases. You can be one of the top producing people in the company in terms of volume, and you will be given a 1.5% raise and a pat on the back. - Some of the account managers I worked with were completely clueless about what the Photo team was capable of and over-promised things to their clients, leading to the client getting upset with us. - If you are not in a customer-facing position like Sales, good luck getting any recognition from upper management for your achievements.

Pros

This has been one of the better company cultures I’ve experienced. People care about doing good work and helping each other succeed, with competition focused externally rather than within teams. There’s a lot of opportunity to take ownership and grow if you’re proactive. Leadership is transparent about where things are headed and why, and there are a number of professional development opportunities. There’s also a clear commitment to work-life balance, with things like weekly quiet hours and Flex Fridays during the summer.

Cons

During periods of change, priorities can shift quickly. That said, I've seen those create new opportunities for growth and advancement.

Pros

I've really enjoyed my time at Syndigo. The people are one of the company's biggest strengths. Everyone I've worked with has been friendly, supportive, and genuinely willing to help each other succeed. There is a collaborative culture where employees care about their work and enjoy being part of the team. I especially love working on my team. We collaborate well, support one another, and genuinely enjoy working together. It's rare to find a group that works so effectively while maintaining such a positive atmosphere. I also appreciate the strong work-life balance. There is flexibility and trust, which allows me to do my best work while still maintaining time for my family and personal life. Overall, it's been a positive place to grow professionally while working alongside talented colleagues who are invested in helping each other and our customers succeed.

Cons

I don't have any significant cons to note based on my experience. Like any growing company, there are always opportunities to refine processes, but overall my experience has been very positive.
