Pros

Good people — Synapse Health has a lot of capable, hardworking employees who care about doing solid work and supporting the business. Supportive coworkers — Most people genuinely try to help each other out, especially when priorities or expectations aren’t clear. Flexible work environment — Depending on your team, there’s a good amount of understanding around personal commitments and work‑life balance. Opportunity to contribute — Because Synapse is growing, there are chances to take on new responsibilities and get exposure to different parts of the business.

Cons

Unclear ownership — Roles and responsibilities aren’t always well defined, which makes it hard to know who’s accountable for what. Things can feel more complicated than they need to be, and decision-making can move slower than necessary. Changing priorities — Priorities shift often, and it can be tough to see how your work ties into the bigger picture. Skills not fully utilized — A lot of employees feel like their strengths aren’t being used to their full potential. Top‑down decisions — Leadership sometimes pushes for specific outcomes without fully considering best practices or the expertise of the people closest to the work. Decisions often feel reactive rather than planned. Inconsistent communication — Messaging can feel overly positive, followed by decisions that don’t align with what was shared.

Pros

*What stands out most is the sense of purpose behind the work. It's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture in a lot of jobs, but here you can clearly connect what you're doing day-to-day to the impact it has on patients. *There's also real room to make a difference through continuous process improvement; if you see something that could work better, you're given the space to actually fix it rather than just flag it. *Many roles are remote too, so there's a good amount of flexibility in how and where you work.

Cons

The pace moves fast, and because the Synapse is growing, processes are often being built, and then rebuilt, as things evolve. It's not a bad thing, but if you don't handle change well or prefer a lot of established structure, this could be frustrating.

Pros

There is not one perk to this job

Cons

-The pay is dirt poor and they pick and choose who and what they pay. It was not as advertised - The health benefits package is not beneficial and you pay more each paycheck that the coverage makes sense for -There are no mental Health benefits and if you think you are getting an accommodation, you might as well think again. - Management is very snarky, unprofessional and lack effective communication or empathy. The sit on the company teams and private chat about the agents. They have been caught doing so many times but if you do it.. Expect to be targeted - They love to tell you to ask question and/or speak up. That's a set up. If you dont plan on kissing butt... Leave your opinion to yourself -They activley do all they can to prevent you from moving to other departments outside of intake because how could they work you as a slave in a healthier environment
